Mascara for the Mind is Back!

Welcome to my shiny new blog, where each week I’ll be sharing with you my thoughts, ideas, top tips, tools and techniques on how to improve the relationship you have with yourself.

I believe it’s the most important relationship you will ever have, and this one is guaranteed to last a life time!

A positive relationship, influences your happiness and well being, whilst having a huge impact on your thoughts, feelings, interactions and relationships with other people. Giving you the confidence to be yourself, to life a live you love, a life that is congruent with your values and beliefs.

Being in a negative relationship with yourself leads to internal conflict, stress, anxiety, self-doubt, guilt, confusion, being overwhelmed, feeling unmotivated and some seriously low confidence.

I know because I was in one! About 14 years ago I was feeling far from fabulous. I was stressed, anxious, paralysed by procrastination. I’d lost my sense of self, my head was full of whizzing thoughts that I just couldn’t seem to grab a hold of – no matter how hard I tried.

So, I couldn’t help but wonder… how do you improve the relationship you have with yourself?

I studied Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP) and became an NLP Master Practitioner and a Solution Focused Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist DHypPsych (UK). Combining my Learning and Development qualifications and skills to create Mascara for the Mind.

Which is simply a metaphor for my style of coaching. Sometimes you just need a sweep of mascara and you’re ready to face the day. I wanted to create an approach that could be applied quickly and simply in a fun yet effective way, on a daily basis.

It’s about learning how to embrace and celebrate who you are today, so that you can build upon and enhance what you already have.

Confidence is all about, trusting in yourself and being honest about what you want, whilst acknowledging any doubts and fears that come your way
I’ll help you look at yourself and your life from a fresh perspective. We can identify what you want and resolve what’s holding you back, before creating what’s next for you!

This may mean letting go of habits, beliefs and behaviours that no longer serve a positive purpose in your life.

Removing the psychic spanx that keep you restricted and prevent you from being your true self and packing away any emotional baggage you may be carrying.

Like a make-over for your mind!
You’ll start to understand yourself, your values, passions and dreams. Recognising and embracing the unique strengths and talents that you bring to the world. Gaining the confidence to be yourself and creating a life you love. I’m super excited to share with you what I’ve learnt and am still learning through this blog.
